How to Use a Head First Book to study
- Slow down. The more you understand, the less you have to memorize
- Do the exercises. Write your own notes. Use a pencil. Physical activity while learning can increase learning.
- Read the "There Are No Dumb Questions". They're part of the core content.
- Drink water. Lots of it. Dehydration decreases cognitive function
- Listen to your brain. If you're starting to skim or forget what you just read, it's time for a break.
- Create something. Go beyond the book.
